Product Description
ERNiMo-7 is a premium nickel-molybdenum solid welding wire compliant with AWS A5.14/A5.14M standards, designed for Hastelloy B-2 (UNS N10665) and similar nickel-molybdenum alloys. Featuring a high-purity composition with 27.0-32.0wt.% molybdenum, low chromium (1.0-3.0wt.%), and strict impurity control (C≤0.05wt.%, Si≤0.10wt.%), it excels in strong reducing corrosive environments. Compatible with GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes, it supports welding of homogeneous nickel-molybdenum alloys, dissimilar nickel-iron joints, and corrosion-resistant surfacing.
Features
▪ Superior Corrosion Resistance: Offers exceptional resistance to hydrochloric acid (any concentration/temperature), non-oxidizing acids (sulfuric, phosphoric, acetic), and mixed media containing H₂S/chlorides. It effectively resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC).
▪ Stable Performance: Low-impurity design inhibits μ-phase and carbide precipitation, preventing intergranular corrosion and hot brittleness. Weld metal exhibits tensile strength of 650-740MPa, elongation ≥15%, and good toughness, matching base material properties without complex post-weld heat treatment.
▪ Excellent Weldability: Ensures smooth weld formation, moderate molten metal fluidity, and easy slag removal. Compatible with DCEN (GTAW) and DCRP (GMAW) modes, it adapts to normal-to-medium temperature welding with flexible interpass temperature control (≤100℃).
