What is the primary use of E347LT-1?
It is primarily used for welding stabilized stainless steels (Types 321 and 347) in high-temperature applications and corrosive environments where intergranular corrosion resistance is critical.
What shielding gas is recommended?
100% CO₂ for deeper penetration and lower cost; 75% Ar/25% CO₂ for smoother arc and reduced spatter.
What is the difference between E347LT-1 and E308LT-1?
E347LT-1 contains niobium for stabilization against intergranular corrosion at high temperatures, while E308LT-1 is designed for 304-type stainless steels without high-temperature stabilization requirements.
