Product Description
E410NiMoT1-1 is a gas-shielded flux-cored wire (AWS A5.22) designed for welding martensitic stainless steels containing approximately 12% chromium. It features 11-12.5% Cr, 4-5% Ni, and 0.4-0.7% Mo for an air-hardenable martensitic structure. Suitable for all-position welding with 100% CO₂ or 75-80% Ar/20-25% CO₂ shielding gas.
Features
▪ Martensitic Structure: Air-hardenable deposit provides excellent wear resistance and erosion-corrosion performance.
▪ High Strength: Tensile strength ≥110,000 psi (760 MPa) with hardness approximately 312 HBW.
▪ Operational Performance: All-position capability with low spatter, smooth arc, and easy slag removal for high deposition rates.
Applications
▪ Hydroelectric Power: Turbine runners, blades, and vanes requiring cavitation resistance.
▪ Industrial Valves: Valve seats and bodies in high-pressure piping systems.
▪ Hardfacing: Overlay applications on continuous casting rolls and wear components.
▪ Martensitic Stainless: AISI types 403, 405, 410, 420, and ASTM CA6NM castings.

FAQS
What is the primary use of E410NiMoT1-1?
It is primarily used for welding martensitic stainless steels (12% Cr) such as ASTM CA6NM castings and AISI 410/410NiMo in hydroelectric turbines, industrial valves, and hardfacing applications.
What shielding gas is recommended?
100% CO₂ for cost-effective welding; 75-80% Ar/20-25% CO₂ for smoother arc and improved weld characteristics.
What is the difference between E410NiMoT1-1 and E308LT-1?
E410NiMoT1-1 is a martensitic stainless steel wire (12% Cr) designed for high-strength, wear-resistant applications requiring post-weld heat treatment. E308LT-1 is an austenitic stainless steel wire (19-21% Cr) for 304-type applications with lower strength (≥520 MPa) and no heat treatment requirement.
